The problem

Imperial Ductwork Services Ltd (IDSL) were getting frustrated with the sheer quantity of paperwork on site on a daily basis. From signing in sheets, to RAMS & TBTS signing sheets and more. The process of gathering all the signatures, making sure they were legible, getting all the papers populated, scanned and sent to the office would end up taking up far too much time and was a lengthy process. On top of this, IDSL needed to track where all their operatives were signing in and out to site everyday. They did use another time & attendance device on the larger projects, which was reliant on a permanent power source and worked fine, but these were not practical for every site and they needed a more efficient, and cost-effective solution.

IDSL now know exactly what they are spending on labour for every project with the exact hours logged onto Chime each day. This has meant they can manage labour costs better and sign off sub-contractors applications with confidence.
