JMC Electrics is a specialist electrical engineering subcontractor focused on large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical, power generation and commercial projects. Founded in 2004 in Castlewellan, County Down, by James and Janine McAlinden, the company has grown from a small Irish electrical firm into a pan-European operation delivering complex electrical installations across Ireland, the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Sweden and Finland. With over 130 directly employed staff and a site workforce regularly exceeding 300 skilled operatives, JMC works as a trusted delivery partner to Tier 1 M&E contractors on some of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre programmes.

The problem

JMC Electrics was growing at a pace its systems couldn't match. In the space of two years, the workforce nearly doubled – from around 110 operatives to close to 300 – and the business was suddenly stretched across six European jurisdictions. They had an older system in place, but it gave them only a fraction of what they actually needed.
