Middlesex Group have been so impressed with how user-friendly and easy to use the app is for their teams. Operatives can sign in and out with ease and Ryan McCullagh, Managing Director of Middlesex Facades, says ‘The signing in and out feature is very user friendly. We are now looking at using it for more than just a clever ‘signing in and out’ system.’

2 | Easy skills and certificates upload

A key feature for the Middlesex Group teams is the ability to upload their skills and certificates on Chime. Once uploaded, they are then verified by management/office staff - putting an end to their photocopying and many phone calls chasing operatives. It enables a ‘live’ traffic-light view of every operatives skills / qualification such as CSCS cards, SSSTS, SMSTS, and First Aid.

Chime allows the management to keep an eye on labour levels accurately and, at any point in the day, by simply clicking on the app they can see what labour is where. This is a powerful tool enabling them to see where their spend is in real-time and project accurate forecasts for each job.

Middlesex Group have found the ‘who’s on site’ feature on Chime invaluable - it gives their office managers and directors a ‘live’ view of everyone on-site straight from their phone without the need to be at the sites.
