As Marrons CE has grown over the years, it has become harder and harder to check exactly who is on-site every day and compare this to their time-sheets. Elaine Marron, Accounts Manager, said “I would have to ring the foreman each day to determine who was there on site but this was both time consuming and not fully reliable”. They also had the problem of not understanding the true costs of their labour in real-time. John Marron, Managing Director, said he tried to combat this by introducing a fingerprint solution to his sites but this ended up being difficult to use for the men and therefore didn’t provide the answer they needed.
