The problem
Working on large high profile projects across London, it is imperative for Modular Interiors to have a good solution for keeping track of operatives signing in and out each day. But, there were various challenges they were facing. Firstly, with multiple subcontractors all ‘signing in’ to site each day, the queues could be up to 30 minutes in the morning and afternoons, wasting huge amounts of time and productivity. Secondly, the legibility of the signing in and time sheets was increasingly hard to read and would result in time-consuming ‘detective work’ every week. They invested in a static hardware system - but this became glitchy and unreliable and soon abandoned. On top of this, Modular Interiors needed to keep track of exactly which operative had received, understood and signed what toolbox talk. Paper logs were difficult to manage and keep track of.

With the Who Is On Site tool, at the click of a button, Modular Interiors can see exactly which operative (photo) has signed in at what time and where. It has had such a huge impact on site where the works are taking place across multiple floors of a central London office. Gone are the problems of the illegibility of handwritten signing in sheets and operatives being able to sign each other in and out.
